About Us

“Cyclers see considerably more of this beautiful world than any other class of citizens. A good bicycle, well applied, will cure most ills this flesh is heir to”

Dr. K K Doty

Cycling is at its most fun when there’s a little adventure involved. Sure, getting from A to B is a big part of it, but it’s what happens in between that makes the journey memorable.

Based in northwest Vermont, we are lucky to have some of the country’s most beautiful dirt roads, gravel, and single track in our backyard. Not only are the views incredible, but stumbling upon farmers markets, cute coffee shops, and world-renowned breweries make the ride even more enjoyable.

At “The Road Less Graveled”, we compile our favorite adventure rides, mainly focused on gravel routes in Vermont, complete with detailed directions, photos, and suggestions for stops.

You will find that our routes are categorized into “Leisurely,” “Intermediate,” and “Advanced,” and are also grouped according to their location.
